Happy New Year lovely Toastmasters ! Here’s to a fabulous 2024 and whatever that holds for you..
If one of your aims this year is to improve your public speaking skills ( along with 270,000 members, in 148 countries !) either for public speaking, work meetings or getting over a fear of public speaking, you’ve come to the right place.

Meeting Days
The club meets on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Tuesday of each month throughout the year.
Currently, our meeting on the 5th Tuesday of each month is on Zoom – details below.
Meeting Time
Our meetings start at 7.30pm sharp and normally last approximately 2 hours depending on what is on the agenda. We have a 10-15 minute break during the meeting to stretch our legs, grab a drink and have a chat.
Meeting Location
We meet at the Guildford Institute in central Guildford ( Ward Street, GU1 4LH). We are a hybrid club, which means we also meet online using Zoom. See Zoom Details below.

Membership
Toastmasters Membership runs in 6 monthly cycles from October to March and then from April until September inclusive.
Fees are in two parts;
1. Lifetime membership fee - When you join as a new member you pay a one time fee, which is currently £20 and goes to Toastmasters International. When we say ‘one time’ this joining fee covers you for life in any Toastmasters Club.
2. Club Membership Fee – this is £90 in advance of each 6 month period. We typically collect this in September and again in March for the following 6 months.
